Tour Overview.
Enjoy the 6 days Safari to the Eastern side of the country where the country’s treasures lie. This safari will take you to the Jinja which is the adventurous city and it is where the source of the Nile is found, you will partake the boat cruise and then visit most beautiful Sipi falls which are engulfed by the coffee plantations resulting into magical sceneries, you will as well visit Pian – Upe reserve in north-eastern Uganda.
Our driver guide will pick you from the hotel or at the Airport and set off to Jinja which is 80km away from Kampala the Capital City of Uganda. You will drive through Mabira forest which is a home to different species for example birds, monkeys among others.
You will arrive in Jinja during lunchtime, have lunch in a local restaurant as you overlook the Nile as you are enjoying the sights and sounds of Nile waters. You will spend an overnight in Jinja.
Arise in the morning for a breakfast and head to Jinja city for a tour and you will be visiting source of the Nile where the world’s longest river starts from, Itanda fall, Bujagali falls and then proceed to Sipi falls for another breathe taking sceneries, arriving in the afternoon, check-in to the lodge and then in the evening you will engage in different activities for example cultural tours, visiting coffee and tea plantations, you can also engage in hiking, visiting the Nyero rock painting among others.
After your morning breakfast in Sipi Falls, check-out of the lodge and head to the Pian Upe game reserve which is the second largest protected area in Uganda and a home to various wildlife species for example cheetahs, ostriches, buffaloes, giraffes to mention but a few.
Drive in the country’s eastern side with best sceneries of Mt. Elgon, you will enjoy a picnic lunch, arriving in the reserve will be in the evening, check-in the lodge for dinner and overnight.
On this beautiful, you will arise in the early morning and head to the jungle for a morning game drive to catch up with the early risers, you will meet herds of buffaloes, giraffes, ostriches, cheetahs, kobs, porcupines, the rock hyrax, aardvark, hedgehogs, Patas monkeys, Vervet monkeys, among others, you will be enjoying the birdlife like Abyssinian ground hornbill, darters, weavers, superb starling, secretary birds to mention but a few all be waiting for you.
A picnic lunch shall be served near Girik river where you will have another chance to spot animals in a crowd when they come to drink water. Proceed with a game drive as you enjoy different scenic viewpoints, retire to the lodge for dinner.
Arise in the early morning, have a scrumptious breakfast, check-out of the lodge and head to the jungle for a morning game drive. This reserve is gifted with herds of buffaloes, elephants, leopards, zebras, caracals, hartebeests, common elands, giraffes to mention but a few.
You will enjoy this extra ordinary view as you will be visiting different animal view points and kopjes, return to the lodger after the sunset.
On this day, wake up in the early morning, have a scrumptious breakfast and check out of the lodge, head to Kampala. It is going to be a long journey but with stopovers for scenic viewing to take pictures and proceed with your journey, the next stopover will be for lunch, then embark on a trip to Kampala.
Arrive in Kampala in the late evening and the driver will drop you at the Airport and this marks the end of your safari.
