The 6 Days Uganda Safari takes you to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest Crater Lake in Uganda that offers the undulating unforgettable terrain land forms and dotted beautiful islands which offers various species of birds, after visit the Bwindi Gorilla Park where you can enjoy the unforgettable gorilla trekking in Africa. After drive to Queen Elizabeth and with chance you will spot the African tree climbing lions and other wildlife species like the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, water and bush bucks, Uganda Kobs and other antelopes among others and we end our safari with visit to the Kibale forest that habits the great primates the chimpanzee in Africa!
Day1: Kampala-Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast from your hotel in Kampala, meet our guide/driver and exchange greetings and thereafter embark the safari truck and transfer to western Uganda via Masaka-Mbarara highway with the stopover at the Uganda equator for snacks and unforgettable photographs, transfer to Agip Motel or Regency Hotel for lunch. Then drive to Lake Bunyonyi and as you reach experience the amazing undulating land forms and beautiful dotted islands. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland Camp, meal plan: H/B
Day2: Lake Bunyonyi-Bwindi Gorilla Park
Have breakfast and after embark the motor boat visiting several islands looking for the birds and also visiting to the local communities who leave to these islands. After return to lodge for lunch and thereafter transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Park where you will experience your great gorilla trekking the following day. Check in at Buhoma Rest camp/Bwindi view inn for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B
Day3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast transfer to the park head quarter for briefing about the gorillas and the forest, after briefing enter into the forest to search the shy mountain gorillas in their mist. When you meet the gorillas take amazing photos and videos, have your lunch and after the 1 hour that you are allowed to stay with the gorillas return to the park offices and get your gorilla trekking certificate. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B
NB. For an awesome trekking journey, carry your packed lunch and bottled mineral water, walkable shoes, hut, insect repellent, sun screen, rain gears, warm clothes.
Day4: Bwindi via Ishasha-Queen (Boat cruise)
Have early morning breakfast and after embark the safari truck to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha southern sector to search for the tree climbing lions, these animals are wild game species so with chance you will see them in the branches of the trees along the way to the mweya peninsula where you will have your boat cruise today evening at the Kazinga channel which connects Ramsar Lake Gorge to Lake Edward and over this cruise expect to spot variety of wildlife species and birds along the banks of the channel. Day5: Queen (Game drive)-Kibale Forest National Park
Early morning breakfast and after go for the morning game drive looking for wildlife species like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, water and bush bucks, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, antelopes. This experience takes 3-4 hours and after embarks the safari truck and transfer to Kibale forest national park with lunch en-route and the view of the fabled mountain of the moon. Day6: Chimpanzee Trekking-Return Kampala
After breakfast proceed to the park offices for briefing about the chimps and the forest as well, thereafter enter the forest to look for the chimps and other primates like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey, manageably and variety of bird species. Return to lodge for lunch, after drive back to Kampala/Entebbe for your return flight back home or to your next destination. End of services
